Security camera installation in Ocean City
Doors, the deck, and the street side of a vacation house. Recorded here, viewed on your phone when you are back in Philadelphia or North Jersey. The crew is in Mays Landing, not a directory listing.
What gets installed
UniFi Protect cameras and a recorder that stays in the house. Exterior cameras where the salt air actually hits them, not a indoor dome stuck under a soffit as a guess. Cable is labeled. The app is on your phone before we leave.
Guest Wi-Fi for the week stays off that system. Renters get internet. They do not get the cameras, the locks, or the recorder. If the house also needs the family network rebuilt, that is the same visit or the next one — we say which on the estimate.
What the install day looks like
We start with the rooms that matter: the front door, the deck, the driveway, and any side of the house a person can actually reach. A camera aimed at the sky or at a neighbor’s window does not get mounted. Cable is pulled where the walls allow it. Where they do not, we say so before we drill, not after.
The recorder stays in the house, not in a cloud plan you cannot cancel. You get the app on your phone, a check that the night view is a picture and not a black square, and a note of which camera is which door. Guest Wi-Fi for a rental week is a separate network. Renters get internet. They do not get the recorder.
Ocean City houses sit in salt air. Outdoor cameras and the mounts have to be the outdoor ones. An indoor dome under a soffit clouds up and then gets blamed on “the Wi-Fi.” Empty weeks are the easy time to pull cable. If the house is full, we schedule around the stay.
The island is one drive from Mays Landing. Music Pier, the Gardens, and the streets toward the meadows are the same kind of job. Tell us the street. We do not need a landmark to find the door. If the house also needs the family network rebuilt, that is either the same visit or the next one, and the estimate says which.
This is installation and the network behind the cameras. It is not a sticker, a monthly alarm contract, or a claim that we hold a New Jersey security-installer license. Alarm monitoring and lock work that the state licenses separately are a different scope. Ask what the job includes before you book. If we cannot do that part, we will say so.
Ocean City, plus the rest of the island towns we already serve. The town page is Ocean City. The general camera service is security cameras. The price is a written estimate, not a number on this page. How a quote works.
Questions
- Do you install security cameras in Ocean City?
- Yes. Vacation houses, small inns, and shops. The crew drives from Mays Landing. We use UniFi Protect: cameras, a local recorder, and a phone app.
- Can I see the house when I am not on the island?
- Yes. The app shows the doors and the outside. Guest Wi-Fi is a different network, so a renter does not get the cameras.
- Are you a licensed alarm company?
- This page is camera installation and the network behind it. New Jersey licenses alarm and lock work separately. We do not print a license number we do not have. If the job is a monitored alarm or a lock that needs that license, we say so before you book.
- Do you publish a camera price?
- No. The number depends on how many cameras, the cable already in the walls, and whether the house is empty. You get a written estimate first.
